On 1 August, we celebrate our 30th anniversary. It all began in the summer of 1989, when Andrzej Wiśniowski envisioned a power-operated, remote-controlled garage door, which revolutionized the market. Product customization has become a distinctive feature of our brand, making it possible for the customer to get exactly what they need. It remains so to this day. Our customers can customize their garage doors, gates, windows, doors, and fences knowing that they are choosing the highest quality, comfort, and security.
Over the 30 years of existence, we have undergone considerable changes. From a family company that started out in a garage, we became a key player on a European scale with a factory spanning over 270,000 square metres. And yet these three decades have not changed our approach to customers, as it is the customers and their needs that count the most.
Matching our products to their requirements is our priority, so we always aim for full customization, which we are able to provide despite mass production – and this makes us stand out from the competition. This way, everyone can get exactly the garage door they need without being forced to choose from just a few versions provided by the manufacturer.

Over our 30 years in business, we came up with innovations such as placing a gate drive unit inside a post in 2000, implementation of the proprietary AW Expert programme for designing fences in 2010, introduction of the smart category with garage doors, windows, doors, and fences controlled with a smartphone in 2015, and creating the WIŚNIOWSKI Concept model – a comprehensive range for the home in matching design combined with the smartCONNECTED functionality.
In the year of our 30th anniversary alone, we managed to introduce a number of new solutions and enhancements both for the home and the business sector. One example is the DoorLock lock cylinder, which makes it possible to control the door remotely, if necessary, from any place in the world. We also expanded our aluminium door and window range by the brand new MB 104 Passive line. Thanks to their parameters and high quality, these products can successfully be used in energy-efficient and passive houses. The system has been awarded the Passive House certificate by the Institute in Darmstadt.
Our best-selling CREO door range also received some enhancements. Readers with the RFID technology (also available with the DECO doors), smartTouch integrated with the stainless steel pull, and a two-channel fingerprint scanner with the “GUEST” function – are all solutions facilitating home access control, making it possible to stow traditional keys away for good and enter the home using just a fingerprint.
The MOTO WIŚNIOWSKI powered by Somfy drive unit is also a new product – here, we managed to fit all the major functionalities of a garage door drive unit in a minimalist and elegant housing. The drive unit is ready to operate in less than 60 seconds after installation. Very quiet in operation, it will perform well in garages adjacent to buildings, even directly to bedrooms.
For the business sector, we introduced two ultra-modern products this year the MakroPro 2.0, which is a new version of the proven MakroPro sectional gate, as well as the TRAFFIC gate. The MakroPro 2.0 combines all the best features available in the market and additionally ensures easy fitting. The TRAFFIC gate is a leading-edge product that will stand up to the most severe conditions. The gate is intended for access control in gated communities, guarded car parks, and distribution centres.
For 30 years now, our brand has stood out thanks to the highest quality of our products based on advanced technological solutions. This way, we have been setting the direction of development in line with the Industry 4.0 concept for the entire sector. We stand behind creating safe and convenient products, the quality of which has been recognized in many countries of the Old Continent, including Germany, France, Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Czech Republic, Italy, Hungary, and Slovakia.
